Wonder Pets is a show for children that has aired on Nickelodeon since 2006. This show also airs on another children’s educational television network channel called Noggin.
The three main characters of this show include Linny the Guinea Pig, Turtle Tuck, and Ming-Ming Duckling. They all attend class together at a local preschool. However, these three characters are far from ordinary.
They have been known to travel the world rescuing other animals who need their help. They are unlike any other superheroes because they do not have any magical powers. Rather, the source of power they use to accomplish their missions is teamwork.
The dialogue of the show is often sung to the tune of major Broadway-style hits. In addition to promotion of teamwork, this show also helps preschool aged children learn the importance of other skills.
For instance, they learn valuable problem-solving skills, find out what it is like to care about others, and just learn how to have a sense of humor. Kids who watch Wonder Pets also are exposed to quality music that they can appreciate for their whole lives.
Watching Wonder Pets is fun for most preschoolers. It is also something that they will probably talk about and laugh about as adults reminiscing of old times.
